Change / transform the "wishlist" button to a "quote cart" button

Can you help? We need to transform the wishlist button to a quote cart button (while maintaining or not tempering with the shopping cart)

This quote cart must have a send button once the user has selected all products which are in the quote cart and are ready to request for a quote.

When you click on Send QuoteCart does it automatically send to a specified email address? I'm guessing this was done by altering the Wishlist functionality?
