I just have read in the license agreement of Kendo UI that the version with MVC C# wrappers is not open source. It is only available as a commercial license. Could this eventually be a problem for integrating it into nopCommerce?
What IE6 has to do with upgrade to Kendo? Its already dead for years struggling for 1% of shares :). If Telerik can decide in 2011 that its useless to make it compatible, then everyone else should also reach same conclusion.
As a web developer I can genuinely say I'm sick of devs who still try to support IE6, the sole reason why people don't feel urge to upgrade is that web makers make it work for them. Moment users can't access sites correctly, that day browser dies no matter how used, old or sufficient it is. Easiest way to implement support https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/399542_119621878184058_1898424476_n.jpg
Any estimate when Kendo UI makes it into Nop, is there any progress yet? Date? :)
I just noticed that Kendo UI is still not implemented in ver. 2.8.
Just to clarify:
We do not need explicitely the Kenydo UI, but we have big problems with the current Telerik MVC extensions. We need to edit dates in a telerik grid and this does only work with U.S. formatted dates. European formatted dates do not work at all (cannot update, is always empty). So as Telerik MVC Extensions is no more supported nor updated, we keep staying with this problem.
This is the reason we wait for Kendo UI being implemented. If there is another solution to our problem, we can also live with MVC extensions.
IS there another solution?
