Can nopCommerce 2.8 be downgraded to .net framework 4.0 ?

I just want to implement a store with nopCommerce 2.8 . But the problem is that my hosting provider does not implement framework 4.5 yet! I can only get version. So, I want to know can it be possible to downgrade the framework version of current .nopcommerce? Thanks in advance.
