Out of the box, nopC allows you to have multiple external (carrier) shipping rate computation methods. If you need to do more complex shipping scenarios see Shipping Director
Some complex scenarios could be:
- Have some products ship USPS and other products ship FedEx (e.g. by Category, Manufacturer, etc.)
- Drop ship from different warehouses
- Conditionally eliminate a carrier or some options of a carrier (e.g. No USPS to Alaska or Hawaii)
