Moving from 2.7 To 2.8 : Lots of features in 2.8 either disabled or missing, please help. I am NOT using built in Nop.Db.

I moved my local nop commerce code base from 2.7 to 2.8 and tried running the same in browser.

Both releases were built in Windows 8, Visual Studio 2012, SQL Server 2012. But when I run both the versions pointing to different databases, I see a huge difference in look and feel in 2.8.

It seems lots of things are either turned off or missing from 2.8 version.

For example: I am not able to select an item and take it to the cart in 2.8, but in 2.7, it works.

Please help if I am missing something.
