Manufacturer Navigation with categories

i'm trying to implement a navigation within the Manufacturer navigation. Where after clicking on a manufacturer instead of showing the total amount of products, it shows some subcategories.

What would be the best way  to implement this?

Not sure if this is the best way but I would be using Categories with manufacturer names. If you want them to appear in a separate navigation then I'd be using this idea.

Otherwise you would use a similar pattern to that used by the Categories.

I was thinking about using an @html.action helper in the manufacturer navigation to generate the appropiate
categories.

Would this work? I am still kinda new to ASP.NET MVC aswell.
