Nivo slider fails to appear on homepage

I'm using photovideo theme. Nivoslider is installed on server and enabled in both plug ins and widgets. It doesn't show up on home page, however, so clearly I've missed a step. Can anyone tell me what to do next to get it to show up?

If the site or section is online, could you provide a link to it?
Some source code might help us find the problem :)
