Hell All,
From searching in the forum I see this topic has been brought up in the past but wanted to see if there are currently any plans for officially adding an option to store product images in the file system instead of the DB?
In my current solution the products details are stored in a DB with one of the data elements being the path and image name (ie: \images\SKU.jpg). The name of the image is the same as the sku number.
I manage 8 different carts all setup this way with each cart have 8000 to 14,000 products and images each so I do not want to try and manually add each product image.
Other than this image handling nopCommerce is perfects for this. Is adding the option to have images stored in the file system with only a path reference store in the DB on the table for the next version> If so approximately when would the next release be.
