Why, after Paypal Standard payment, the payment doesn't change the status to PAID?

Hi,

I am testing the payment method plugin "Paypal Standard", and all work fine:

- After the order is created, i'm redirected to the Paypal page.
- I can use a sandbox buyer user, and the Paypal system tell me that the payment has been made succefully.
- After that, I'm redirected back to my page.

All is good, except one thing: The Payment status continue being PENDING.

I've read in other forum posts that, after the payment is made, the order status continue being PENDING, because the change happen when you set  the order manually as SHIPPED.

Ok, but, Why the Payment Status continute PENDING? I think it should change to PAID, after come back from the Paypal page...

¿What I am doing wrong?

I continue having same issue...
Maybe is not an issue, but I understand it would have to change the state to PAID.
Perhaps this is normal when using paypal sandbox... don't know.
Anybody can help me?

I have found my mistake.
Just for people who will be in the same situation.

In my case, I was trying to make the entire checkout procedure using my Paypal SandBox acconts (seller and buyer), but in the configuration of the Paypal Standard method, I was using the REAL PTI Identity Token, so obviusly Paypal never comunícate with my store in the correct way.
Note that the Test Seller Account in Paypal Sandbox has its own PTI Identity Token, and you must use it when testing.

Excuse me, I ve read the post you have referenced, but my orders on sandbox are still pending... I can do the comlpete checkout and my buyer receives an emai with his invoice, but on ADMIN->SALES-> ORDERs my order is PENDING.

Could you help me please ?
