If you look at the current website im setting up

The logo does not have the width i want it, I tried to change it from the master.css but no matter what I change the a.logo width to it doesnt change. Am I changing from the correct file or is it a different file?
Also 1 more thing while your at the site, I wanna disable the display the category banner on the left, where can I change it?
