when we add a product from the admin section, in the product details it asks for :
Product SKU
Manufacturer part number
what is the difference between these two ? isn't the same things ?
Manufacturer part number is a number that is given by the manufacturer of the product that is unique for each product right ? then what is Product SKU ?

Manufacturer part numbers are a static Identifier of a product which is universal to all distributors, wholesalers, resellers.

SKU's are for in house identifying as well as used for Inventory and for sales. Each business has it's own unique Sku they assign a product, thus developing their own catalog of items.

I got your logic : Manufacturer Part number is given by the Manufacturer of the product
and SKU is like Vendor Part Number who is getting the product from manufacturer and giving the product a different name for its own sales purpose
Is there any way to store Name of the Manufacturer along with Manufacturer Part Number and Vendor Name along with the Vendor Part Number

Each of those share an association when you enter the product data which is stored in SQL.

I know they share an association which is stored together
But my question is that just like we store Manufacturer Part Number and Manufacture of the Product
Can we store Vendor Part Number and Vendor Name along with the product Details ?
