I am affiliated with nopModified as a developer. With that said, I wanted to throw in why I think it's a great solution:
We currently have some of our own plugins up on nopModified right now. It's the Bestseller's plugin and the SearchRank plugin. We do use the DRM stuff ourselves, which we like because it allows us to set stuff like a trial period, how long before a site has to check in before the plugin stops working in case something goes wrong (like an isolated server outage or internet blackout). The payment system will also cover the generation of license keys so we don't have to do this for every single plugin, or even worse pre-generate a list or algorithm check and hard code it into the program. All it takes is adding a reference to a plugin project and a few extra lines of code. We use a 30 day trial and check in period in case anyone is interested in our plugins as well.
Anyone on the fence should give it a go, especially because nopModified is doing free advertising for your plugins right now. Basically nopModified will also deal with payment processing and the acquisition of customers and nopModified covers the payment fees in that small cut and that's only if you use the DRM and nopModified as the hosting provider? I think it's an easy decision with all things considered. It will save you a ton of development time trying to create commercial plugins too.
