In my webmaster tools i am getting this error...

We do not detect any structured data on your site.

Structured data helps Google understand the content on your site, which can be used to display rich snippets in search results.

You provide structured data by adding HTML markup to your site's pages.
Read more about rich snippets.
Visit schema.org - an industry-supported collection of schemas for structured data markup.

Any one help me regarding this issue...

Why does your site have the need to use structured data?

All ecommerce sites can benefit from structured data. It tells Google about name, ratings, pictures, quantity on hand, etc.

What version of nop are you running? Rich snippets were added in nop 3.00 and improved in nop 3.10.

Thanks for your reply. Is there anything needed to implement the structured data or is it all handled automagically? What if we want to add additional attributes from schema.org that nop doesn't pick up?

Thanks!

Thank you for posting that. It answers the other poster's question about 2.8.

For 3.2, I searched and there's no documentation I could find anywhere if the schema.org or other microdata is automatically generated from nop or if we need to add it ourselves? And if we want to add data/microformat that is not implemented, how we should/could do that.

Thanks!

As I stated before, Rich snippets were added in nop 3.00 and improved in nop 3.10. There is nothing extra you need to do, they are just there. If you want to add additional snippets then you would have to alter the different views to get the result you want.

Yes it is automatically implemented. Check example with source code for Build your Own Computer Search for "schema.org". Sorry but I cant help you to add more microformat
