Auto subscribe to posts you create for email notifications
maybe even auto sub to threads that I replied in

(I don't want that much email :)  Just click checkbox "Notify me via email when someone posts in this topic" - avail when you create and reply

My suggestion would allow you to control if it auto checks it for you or not via a profile/config page...

Kinda a standard thing in most forum software
