I have 1000's of specifications related to 1000's products in a excel file, is there any way to import that information directly to database in order to avoid doing that for each of the product one by one i guess that will take years...
In my excel file it's something like this
Product Name Specification
Product1 17"Screen
Product1 128 RAM
Product1 40 GB Hard Disk
Product1 121 Keys
Product1 Intel Mouse
Product2 15"Screen
Product2 256 RAM
Product2 Screen Protector
Product2 Charger
Product2 Headphones
......and so on....for 1000's of products....

I was just going thru the postings to find an answer on excel and I noticed your question. I would put all your specs into your column marked description. Either merge columns or copy and paste into one column. I have about 50 thousand products that I have separated for use in several stores. It does take time but you can do it.
