My client wants to offer both, Google Checkout (GCO) and Paypal (PP) as payment choices.
This is my first delving into nopCommerce, so I'm still getting familiar with it. But I wanted to ask if anyone else has already done this- or wants to do this- and has any info.
As it is--
The GCO button appears in the shopping cart view, or 'first step' of the checkout process. (which implies that GCO will be calc'ing the tax and shipping?) The PP button appears after bill/ship addresses are set and a shipping method has been selected... and merchant has calc'd the shipping and tax.. sending total to PP.
What I'm looking to do--
The main idea is to have the same user-experience for either payment method (apart from visiting pay site), displaying the two payment methods to select from, at the same step. Calc shipping, and/if tax, and pass total to either.
Lastly.. PP returns to the cart [complete] page.. GCO doesn't. Has anyone found a clever way to deal with this?
Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
