Configure User login method

I was making changes to see if I can use the Username instead of the email address to login. Now I can't navigate to any link nor I can't log on. I would like to reset this feature without changing any others. I would also like to know if the change is on the database? or is it on the application? Where did I go wrong?

The setting is Customer.UsernamesEnabled.

You should check in your database that your admin user also has a username (I can't remember whether this defaults to the email address or empty when username are NOT enabled)

I ran into this problem too. Luckily I was able to get back into admin to change it back by using the "[email protected] for user and admin for password. I was lucky I did not delete that account yet.
