Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding what the best URL is for e-commerce product pages. Obviously nop puts the product name directly after the site url e.g. www.mysite.com/my-product. However I was considering whether I could target a keyword prior to the product title will help SEO such as:
www.mysite.com/preferred-keyword/my-product
Which means every product page (for my site) will have the preferred-keyword prior to the product title, which can easily be changed through the route provider.
Do anyone have any stats to backup whether this helps or hinders as the product title is further from the url?
