Whats your requirements? Namely what does it have to do other than checkout a client.
Thanks. Are you going to make it an open source plugin? Ideally, if it can be a plugin and not modify nopCommerce's core codebase, that would be great. Below are our requirements:
1) Plugin
2) Support for multiple storefronts. Each storefront can have its own configuration of POS buttons.
3) Each storefront can have one or more POS Administrator roles
4) Storefront POS Administrators can add POS Cashier users to their store. POS Cashier's can log in and only use the POS front end. Each order is audited so the administrator can see which cashier took the order.
5) Simple UI with large buttons in the wide left panel and totals in the narrow right panel (works with touch screens)
6) Completely Web Based
7) Ability to operate with POS devices (e.g. open/close cash register and print receipts)
8) Keep track of order history
Inkblot, were you thinking of leveraging nopCommerce's existing product table? If so then the POS Products will need to be associated with a POS storefront somehow.
