nop Commerce Login Customisation / Synchronisation with the Main Website

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anyone has come across a way around this yet?

We have the main site setup, with nopCommerce installed and running nicely.

We have users who login to the main site.  The main site uses VB.  

I'm looking for a way we can synchronise the login from the main site directly into nopCommerce so that visitors don't have to login to the main site, then login to the shop when they go to the shop.

Any ideas for this gratefully received!

Does your "main site" use asp.net membership controls?

No, I don't think we do....does that make integration with the nop login easier/possible?

you could use cookies; because of security issues, some users might object, so perhaps giving them the option would be a solution
