Customer name format selection not working.

I'm running version 1.4. In "Global Settings" under the "Customer Profiles" tab, the dropdown menu option to show "Full Name", "Username" or Email is not working. No matter what is selected it remains on email. Anybody else run into this? Thanks.

i'm not sure, but i think this setting refers to how the customers are refered to in the forums

if you want to change the name which is displayed when you are logged in, its the 'use username' in the 'other' tab

BUT

if you have some customers already set up, then change this setting, their usernames will aready have been set as the same as their e-mails

you should be able to change them directly in the database, just don't duplicate any !
