Google+ link rel="publisher"

In the Google Plus link I would set rel="publisher" as default.

rel="publisher" doesn't have the impact it used to. Up until a few months ago, you could link your google+ page to your site and have an avatar pop up in the search results next to the pages you were ranked for. Now it seems that they got rid of that. That being said, I still use it, but it's hard to see any benefit to gain from doing so.
