Excellent demonstration of coding style & architecture.

I reviewd the code only four places you used UpdatePanel. Due to this user feels that website is slow. Any reason?

May I know the reason?
Why not using the dbConfigSection in web.config file for DataLayer switching for diffrent database. May I assume currently you are supporting only sql server so you have hard coded the datalayer.

Data access layer will be rewritten too (may be).
