Multi-store, subdomains, and wildcard SSL

I am attempting to implement a multi-store solution, and I would prefer to setup a wildcard certificate vs. a multidomain one.  Is it possible to setup NOPCommerce with each store having a separate domain name, and then the SSL connection using subdomain?  In other words, let say I have 3 domain names:

store1.com
store2.com
store3.com

I also have a domain with a wildcard SSL that is called secure.com.  Is it possible to setup the main stores (non-ssl) to use the domains above, but have the SSL connection be:

store1.secure.com
store2.secure.com
store3.secure.com

I am attemping to find out if this will work before I buy the certificate.  Any help or feedback will be appreciated.
