Are the any limitations on using this open source project?
Is it easy to add objects? Extend objects? Write new stored procedures?
How to add things in the compiles dll's?

yes it's easy to add objects and extend dll with your own function.
But you shouldn't. The problem is that in each release you will have to modify it again.
To add something in a dll. Open a project like Nop.Common.
Make you changes. right click and select Rebuild. Upload dll to host folder, done.

@mdp: What if I stick to this version and build new code based on this project?
I thought that in the new version too many tables were changed, some columns were encrypted, all locale resources were renamed and so on. It was almost impossible to support upgrading from previous versions?
