Hello, With Google announcing it will be sending mobile traffic to AMP optimised pages next month I think it is very important that eCommerce retailers start working towards this standard, has anyone looked at developing Nopcommerce with AMP.
A good explanation of what AMP is can found here; https://moz.com/blog/accelerated-mobile-pages-whiteboard-friday
Many thanks, James
Interested in this topic as well
Did anyone of you received any updates regarding this topic?
it's interesting to have our website launching with minimal page load! bounce rate will definitely improve...
I will also like to hear the official respond to this topic. Mobile first is starting the 10th of January and will be first step to de-rank sites there not optimize for mobile pages. AMP is must for Nopcommerce future!
I'm interested in AMP for NopCommerce as well, is there any information about this yet?
There is a lot of AMP e-commerces around the web, but they are not using AMP on checkout process yet, once it is not supported, all product browsing is AMP and, on product pages, there is a "Detail" buttons instead of a Buy button, that redirects customers to no-AMP navigation.
That is what I have found.
I did the standard AMP 2 page. It's just a website showing no buy button or cart.

I wrote a new plugin that Create you a new AMP version from your website,
Very powerful SEO tool, tested result start to show up on google first page after paid search,
Its available at 3.7 3.8 3.9 4.0
Demo can run on localhost.
its works on standard and create both canonical links between original and amp version
Very Useful, I bought it, Totally satisfied
We implemented this for a customer few weeks back with customisation in nopCommerce but that implementation was as per client need.
We will be happy to make this as a plugin for anyone who is looking this to be developed in nopCommerce.
