Different tax for different products

I have notice that tax information are stored in header order table only (Order).

This behavior is good when all products have same tax rate but is not so when different products have different tax rate.

For future analysis of data is very important know what product have what tax rate.

Is there a plugin for this problem ?

It is scheduled update about this ?

Yes, someone can think:
you can obtain Tax Id by value stored in Product entity . . . but this is wrong because if, for example, an order submitted 6 months ago had a product with tax of 10% today same product could have a different tax !

was this ever tackled?
