Show or hide product attributes accourding to some conditions

Hi,

Is there any way to show or hide a product attribute that related some conditions ?
For example; The honey is selling in the jar. When the customer add to cart 3 or more honey jar, i want to show a selectable product attribute that "Send me honey with jar" or "Send me honey with a big box" ?

I think, javascript custimization in product detail view solve this problem, but i dont want to custimization in source code. Do you any suggestion for this scenario?
