Discount on price of product attribute

I need to add a discount to a product's attribute, that depends on the quantity of ordered products. How should I do this? is there a way to do this in nopcommerce or should I do a plugin from the ground?

And how should I proceed?

We have a similar need.

Lets say we have a shirt.
Colors are Blue, Red, and Yellow.

So lets say we have a sale on the RED shirt color only.

This would require the RED product attribute to have the discount.  

Does that make sense?  Is it possible?
