Parent - Child Product Relationship

Hi,

I am looking to see if anyone knows how to do Parent - Child relationship for products in nopcommerce.

Instead of using attributes to define different colors or sizes, Id rather for SEO purposes, be able to create a parent-child relationship o the products multiple pages via one main page, so essentially the pages exist but are not visible on the front end or to the customer. Those invisible pages are visible by Google and are indexed so when people click a proper canonical or 301 redirects them to the main product page to select appropriate color or size etc...

Anyone ever run into this problem or know of a fix rather than using attributes? I am open to a plugin as well...

Hello-

Have you tried setting your main products as a Grouped Product, rather than a Simple Product, and unchecking the "Visible Individually" check box for all of it's associated Simple Products?
