Add town in the address

Hello,

I am trying to add a new field on the address:

Currently I have:

Country

Sate/Province

Zip/postal code

and I need to add Town under the address and I need it to show it under the estimate shipping too.

Any advise?

Hi,

Goto Admin > Configuration > Settings > Customer Settings

Select Address Form Fields tab, where you can find Custom address attributes

Add your custom value, save it and check

Sorry for the delay in my question. I didn't tick the notify option and as I didn't receive any mail I was doing other things.

I have the city enabled

addresssettings.cityenabled  True
addresssettings.cityrequired  True

customersettings.cityenabled  True
customersettings.cityrequired  True


But still when going to calculate the estimated shipping the city is still not showing.:

Country:

Any ideas please?

The estimate shipping 'form' on the cart page does not have a City field (regardless of those other address settings).  None of the standard (out-of-the-box) shipping rate provider plugins require city.  (e.g. even UPS and FedEx can calculate a rate based on country/state/zip).  Why  do you need it?

Depending of the city the delivery cost can vary.
