Order receipt sending configuration

Hey everyone, am working on a nopcommerce website but i have one issue i need some clarification on.When a user makes an order and goes to checkout,the system sends a message that says "Hello Someone,
Thanks for buying from Some company name. Below is the summary of the order." even when the user has not cleared the order.how can i fix this because i want it to only send the user such a receipt only when they have fully cleared their order.Thanks

The emails you are referring to are located in Administration -> Content Management -> Message templates.
The emails you are talking about are the "OrderPaid.CustomerNotification" and "OrderCompletted.CustomerNotification".
If you want a message to not be send you should edit it and uncheck the "Is active" setting.
