Default Clean theme and nokia/iphone ad

I think I am ok (for now at least) with the Default Clean theme. However, I can't figure out where the 2 rotating ads for the Nokia 1020 and iPhone are coming from or how to remove them. I have done a bunch of searches and read through the getting started documents and have come up empty.

Home page slider images comes from Nivo slider plugin.

Goto admin > configuration > local plugins > find Nivo slider and check its configuration.
