Universal search bar product descriptions

Is there some way to improve the ability of the search bar to find keywords in my product short descriptions and descriptions?

I am using default clean theme. www.autokraftparts.com

It is a function of the advanced search page. You would need a plugin (or have to modify the source code) to add searching in the 'quick' search.

Thanks for the reply. Would anyone be able to recommend a plugin for this?

Could someone provide an example of what modifying the source code to support this would look like?
