At what moment in time was NopC brought under open Source

I am currently developing the basis of a new open source windows desktop application. People around tell me to put it in Open Source from the beginning but I rather wait till a first version that works, is ready.

At what time was nopC published to the open source community? Did you opened it after the first class was developed or did you wait till the first version was released?

I uploaded it to CodePlex only when the first version (1.00) was finished. During the first two months (before version 1.00) I developed it locally (not available online)

Thx, I understand there are more ways that lead to Rome but this it's quite comforting to read this.
