Conditional show/hide navigation menu items

Is there a way to configure the navigation menu items based off the role of a logged in user?

I this is Top Menu on public site, you can use Category ACL to show/hide them.

If you need more advanced checks, you can modify \Presentation\Nop.Web\Views\Catalog\TopMenu.cshtml in your theme.

There should definitely be a plugin to make creating and managing the menus a lot easier. This has been a cumbersome learning experience just to configure the navigation items.

So I am beginning to research the plugin market. I am going to check out a nop4you menu plugin to see if it will fulfill my needs. The plugin market is quite extensive. I'll be looking at things in there for awhile :)
