Nop and Firebase database

hypothetically, will it be possible no run nop with firebase?

Not without major customization.  Firebase is a NoSQL database.  nopCommerce uses Entity Framework and SQL Database.

I know its a lot of work
I'm developing for iOS and working with API's is really frustrating
on the other hand firebase is simple and easy

wondering if it worth the effort to try and run nop on firebase

at the moment im working with customers table on firebase and it updates nop customers and the other way around

Did you ever figure this out? I am starting to develop an ios application and would like to use firebase as well
