How to run no-source nopCommerce solution locally?

Hi,

Hope somebody could help me, I am creating a theme for nopCommerce based on the default installation, not interested in changing any core source code, but would like to view the theme and site in a browser. I've just downloaded Microsoft VS Code as a simple code editing app, but I am unable to get my no-source nopCommerce site to debug in the browser and view my work. Has anybody else used this new program that could help me set up please?

Hello Nick,

When you say you don't want to change nopCommerce c# code. You want to change only on view pages for theme. Then not require to setup MS visual studio in your computer. Just enable IIS and setup site and put it no source code in inetpub folder and run the site.

Then view pages and CSS you can open in any editor like notepad++, Visual studio etc.
