Notification after customer add IsDownloadeble product first time to cart

Hi!
I want to create some extends like:
After customer add Downloadeble product to cart it will show popup like:


displayPopupNotification('@T("Product.IsDownlobedle.Success")', 'success', false);

So my question is how to make it better?
Overwrite shoppingCart controller? Any other options?
