SSL Mode Change

Currently, we have not marked the box for SSL in the settings.  When I click on it do I need to worry about it changing my configuration that it would negatively impact my site.  I know SSL is required moving forward.   Thank you.

Setup your SSL certificate in server. Make sure it is working properly. Then before enable SSL requirement take a backup of your database and if possible file system as well. Then set the SSL store ur.
Finally set up http to https redirection rules..(url rewrite)
Then you are good enable SSL requirement setting
