We have just released our Nochex extension for nopCommerce.
If you are a UK e-seller you could be paying out more than you have to on transaction fees.
We were looking for the best all round payment gateway for our UK based nopCommerce customers and found that Nochex provided the best value, particularly for start-ups.

We have stores using SagePay, which seems to work well.
We weren't able to find a SagePay version for nopCommerce 2.60, so we've had to modify an earlier version by AppNova - but so far all seems to be OK.
I can post details of our plugin if anyone is interested.
In terms of UK payment options, there is always PayPal - which should work right out of the box.
