Visual Studio 2008 on v1.7?

I'm in an environment where I can't install VS2010 (Express edition or not). Is there a VS08 package for v1.7?

No, you need VS2010 in order to edit nopCommerce 1.70

you can download VWD 2010 from microsoft website for free - i think this version of VWD allows you to recompile the store folders at least ( maybe not the solution )

might be worth a try to let you use v1.8
