How do I edit nopCommerce

I don't mean to sound ignorant, but how do I edit the shopping cart files? I just downloaded the 1.60 version and now I am ready to edit it so I can upload it to my godaddy account. Where do I start? Only web editing tool I have is Namo Webeditor. Please help.

Most of people use Visual Studio 2010 to edit source codes
