Here is my situation:
I have a store using version 3.50, live and active. I don't want to touch it yet, because the store owner is not sure what version they want to upgrade to.
I have copied the database from the old store, upgraded it to version 3.90 and I have uploaded the 3.90 files to a subdomain, in order to create a demo for the store owner to try out.
Now when I visit to the demo site, I end up on the install page, and it wants me to type in an admin username and password, and the information for the database. Since I already have an admin account in the existing database I got suspicious and decided to be careful before I do something wrong.
Is there a way to "skip" the install procedure and make the program understand to use the existing database right away? Or do I have to run the installation even though I have a database set up already? The upgrade instructions don't mention anything about installing so I think I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get with this.
