Entering HTML in Topic Page, Admin page goes blank

I am entering some HTML code into a topic page content box. When I save the admin page, it goes blank below the blue line. The dialog boxes and the code disapear. If I load the page the code works as expected but I cannot go back and edit it becasue the admin page is blank. Is this a bug or could it have something to do with the HTML I a putting there?
