New Installation to new server

Hello All,

I am new to nop commerce shopping cart.  I have hosting account with webhost4life.  It seems requirement for nop commerce is matching up with my hosting company.

I just want to try this shopping cart and want to get feel of it for free.  Otherwise I could have bought documentation.

I have done following steps so far:

I had downloaded nopCommerce_1.80_NoSource.zip file.

- Unzipped nopCommerce_1.80_NoSource in local machine
- FTP each folder and file to my domain which is hosted on webhost4life.
- Now what to do?
- Does it have web based auto installer?  
- What are the other manual steps I have to do? like database script, or other config settings.

Any suggestion would be a great help.

Yes,

You need to convert the nop folder to a Application in IIS
Then give rights (for testing full permission) on the folder
then start install.aspx

You can do this all in one step by going to the microsoft IIS site and install from there.

One of system requirement for nop commerce is: ASP.NET 4.0
WebHost4Life (my hosting company) : ASP.NET 3.5 SP1 / 3.0 / 2.0 / 1.1

It seems my hosting company is not matching up requirement.

More over can you also put more lights on

Webhost4life is not good enough for this. I have switched from them to arvixe.com
They provide .net 4 and full trust. Also not expensive.
