subcatagory creation problem

I am running v1.5 using classic.cs  I am trying to create subcatagories but it does not display properly.  The  subcatagory will only display a link - not the image or descrip.  What am I doing wrong?

What template are you using for the parent category? Switch to the grid template and you should see your images.
