I see this in the list of "warnings". My first beef is that it's not a warning and therefor clutters up the warning list. Having stated that, can someone tell me exactly how removing the "Powered by nopCommerce" link will enhance my site's SEO?

I have the same question. Is this just a marketing claim ?

It may just be a marketing claim but is much needed by NopCommerce, funding is crucial to the development of the platform and is much needed. The claim also stands with some substance. Decreases the amount of duplicate content, can improve seo. Uses less resource if the message is not displayed. To make it clear I do not imagine either of these would make much of a difference to improve seo. Do not remove the message based on expecting better seo performance, remove it based on other factors you may have.

agree with you on that one. It is amazing enough that NopCommerce is open-source and free. And not to mention, their support is amazing as well ! Thanks, Varun
