How to store pictures in a folder ?

I know that when I upload a picture to a product, the system store the picture in the database, I would like to store the picture in a folder ? There is an easy way to do it ? I use version 1.8.

hi.

in admin   configuration-->all settings


look for  (maybe page 7 )

Media.Images.StoreInDB    and set it to false

I cant edit anything becouse i cant see anytihing
