what's the use of "Continue" button in registration page ?

Registration process should be very simple and 1 step process.

why nopCommerce registration process is 2 steps process ?
after getting registered with the website why users gets a "Continue' button ?

If 'Admin approval' is enabled, then a customer will see an appropriate message on that step. The same for 'Activation Email' feature
